The ICMFS is one of the oldest and prestigious societies of maxillofacial surgeons. As the President of ICMFS, I am honored and delighted to welcome you to visit our website, where you can find information about our history, activities, events and membership - https://www.icmfs.com/memnbership/

ICMFS was founded in 1971 by a group of visionary surgeons who wanted to create a platform for exchanging scientific knowledge, professional development and developing friendship relations among colleagues from different countries and regions. Since then, ICMFS has grown into a global network, representing all continents and diverse backgrounds. Our society is guided by the principles of excellence, integrity, diversity and collegiality, and is apolitical in nature.

Our mission is to promote the advancement of maxillofacial surgery through education, research, innovation and collaboration. We are planning to organize regular webinars, workshops, symposia and congresses to share the latest knowledge and best practices in our field. We also foster mentorship, fellowship and leadership opportunities for our members, especially the young and aspiring surgeons.

As you know, the 27th Congress of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS) is taking place in Rome, Italy in September 2024. The ICMFS will organize a side-line program as a “Guest Society Meeting”, where we will showcase our achievements, challenges and perspectives in maxillofacial surgery. We invite you to join us in this exciting event and learn from the experts and pioneers of our specialty.

Another important event that we are looking forward to is our own 33rd International Congress of ICMFS in Baku, Azerbaijan in September 2025. This will be a great opportunity to celebrate our rich legacy as a scientific society and to reflect on our past, present and future contributions to maxillofacial surgery. We hope to see you there and to enjoy the hospitality and culture of this beautiful city.

I would like to thank all our members, partners, sponsors and supporters for their continuous dedication and commitment to the ICMFS. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our patients and in the development of our profession. I also encourage those who are interested in joining us to apply for membership and become part of our family.

Please feel free to browse our website and contact us if you have any questions or suggestions. We are always happy to hear from you and to welcome new ideas and initiatives.

Thank you for your attention and interest in the ICMFS. I hope to see you soon at one of our events or online platforms.

Sincerely,

Prof. Adi Rachmiel
